Had a spare day off work so I took a trip to Liverpool with Lexie and my Mum. Didn’t go out to shoot, but caught this with my compact. Nothing special but better than the recent lack of posts I suppose!

I did enjoy seeing the Penguins and Banana Lambs though!

So much for the best laid plans of mice and men. Never made it to Liverpool thanks to a broken down mini-bus and a lot of not-to-be disappointed beavers. Ended up helping in the effort to get them to Gulliver’s World. Still it was a nice day out, but unfortunately not that many tog opportunities.

This is one I took a while ago in the Lakes, not much photographically, but I love her expression. Jaded view through a parents eyes I’m sure!

Just sooo busy! Off to Liverpool tomorrow with Lexie, so hopefully I’ll capture something. Plenty of inspiration to go on from Pete Carr.

This was probably my least favorite shot from the set, but for some reason I took a look at it anyway. After re-cropping and playing with curves a little, it’s actually grown on me. Wonder if I’ll still like it tomorrow.

Yet another picture of Lexie, this time a slightly different take. Taken using 50mm and an extension tube.

A strange shot I know, but the texture and colours on this roof really stood out to me. Not sure why, but it’ll make a nice image for creating textures in Photoshop if nothing else.

It’s about time I posted something! I’ve been shooting quite a bit recently, so not really any excuse for not updating my blog.

This was taken in The Algarve, Portugal. I have quite a few others from there that I might put up in the coming weeks.

Didn’t have a lens wide enough to actually get the capture I wanted, so I made this by stitching a couple of shots together. I actually wanted to make it even taller, but the distortion on the image proved a little too much. Need a wider lens!
